2. Data we collect
When you create an account: name, email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text).
When you subscribe: your billing information, collected and stored by Stripe. We only store technical references (Stripe customer and subscription IDs).
On the website: our own cookie-less audience measurement. For each page displayed we record the page, the site you came from, the site language and your browser language, the type of device and its system, and a one-day anonymous fingerprint: your IP address, your browser and the date, salted then hashed. The IP address is never stored, the fingerprint cannot be traced back to it and changes every day, no country is inferred and nothing is written to your browser. Robots and administrator accounts are not counted.
Technical logs (IP address) for security and rate limiting.
Alerts: the search criteria you save and the list of listings already e-mailed to you.
Third-party listings: for the Facebook posts we reference, we keep the text, the link, the photo links, and the author’s ID and name (used to merge duplicates and to open a conversation with them, never displayed). The contact details the author published in their listing (phone, WhatsApp, LINE, e-mail) are shown only to subscribers, on that listing’s page. An author can ask for their listing to be removed at the address above.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Performance of the contract: managing your account, subscription and providing the service.
Legitimate interest: service security, fraud prevention, anonymous statistics.
We never sell or rent personal data to third parties.
4. Processors
Stripe (payments, USA), Vercel (hosting, USA), Neon (database, USA), Resend (transactional email, USA), Upstash (technical storage, USA), Anthropic (analysis of listing text, USA; no account data is sent to it).
Transfers outside the European Union are governed by standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while the account is active, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion, unless the law requires otherwise.
Billing data is archived as required by law (accounting: up to 10 years).
Technical logs are kept for a maximum of 24 months; audience measurement, 90 days.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights: privacy@rentkha.com.
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in France: the CNIL, cnil.fr).
